El mayor reto que supuso esta instalación para Plantae era el de colocar las sondas fuera del paso de los neumáticos del pívot para no dañar el sistema de riego y conservar la integridad de las sondas. Para resolverlo, aquellas sondas que podían coincidir con el paso del pívot o incluso dificultar la actividades de laboreo fueron instaladas enterradas.

Thus, it was possible to cover the entire cultivation area. The probes that were buried were placed with care to ensure that even when covered with earth, the sending of readings to the Hub was not impeded. Thanks to the experience and work of the Plantae team, the probes sent readings without problem and were not affected by the excess humidity that being buried implied.

The evolution of the graphs allowed an adjustment of the irrigation system. This adjustment resulted in a decrease in the amount of water to be applied and the frequency of irrigation during the crop cycle was reduced. All of this implied a reduction in the generalized use of the pivot, thus saving electricity consumption in the operation.
