Cases like that of Ángel, a farmer.

Production is positive and the trees produce with the same quality with reduced irrigation. The information from the probes means we make the most of resources and save water and energy without reducing either production or quality, while improving soil health.

  • In 2021 he installed probes in nectarine, peach and flat peach.
  • In 2022, after the good results of the previous season, it was expanded to two nectarine varieties, one earlier and one later, and one peach variety.
  • In a third phase in 2023 he expanded to the rest of the crops: stone fruit, table grapes and citrus.

He currently has 85 hectares monitored with moisture and conductivity probes, having observed the savings in water and fertilizer, being more profitable with production just as good.
