This second fortnight of March is loaded with many fairs for the agricultural and machinery sector.
Here we present some that you cannot miss:
The latter will take place this week on March 15, 16 and 17 at the Aove & Nuts fair at the Talavera fairgrounds de la Reina (Toledo) .
It is an outstanding meeting point for entities, associations, companies and farmers linked to the olive and dried fruit sector.
The Extra Virgin Olive Oil, EVOO, has a great specific weight in the region of Castilla La Mancha, with the extraordinary quality of the variety par excellence, Cornicabra.
In neighboring communities such as Extremadura, Castilla y León, Madrid, and even our neighboring country Portugal.
That added to the boom in crops linked to dried fruit, will be a great claim for producers, consumers, farmers, cooperatives, investors and new technologies applied to the sector.
Also this week between Thursday 15 and Sunday 18 March, the ExpoFare 2018 Irrigated Agriculture Fair will take place in Fuente Palmera (Córdoba).
Fuente Palmera, like much of the Guadalquivir Valley, bases its agriculture on irrigation. This region of more than 10,000 hectares of irrigation has become the ideal place for the development of the fair.
Consequently, the objective of the fair is to present the latest news for irrigated agriculture, with advances for irrigation and the presentation of new varieties of crops associated with this market niche.
Olive Oil Exhibition that will take place at the IFEMA fairgrounds in Madrid offers the opportunity to learn about a wide variety of oils from the main producing regions of the world:
- Spain mainly.
Finally, comment that this fair is aimed at the entire international olive oil sector (oil mills, marketers, packers, producers and buyers).
It aims in each edition:
- First, to help boost international trade.
- Also increase knowledge about the attributes of a unique product such as olive oil.
- Finally open new markets.
