Plantae success story in the cultivation of stone fruit

With Plantae tools you can save water and energy in stone fruit.

Below we observe the comparison between two graphs of the same farmer, for a loam soil and a peach crop.
In the first, thanks to the information obtained from the humidity probes and the flowmeter,
we observe daily irrigation of 3 ,2 hours, managing to moisten both horizons of the soil, in order to maintain it at 80% of the field capacity.

Investment in technology in the cultivation of stone fruit

This client began by installing a Basic service, 1 hub and 2 soil moisture probes at
20cm and 40cm respectively measuring humidity, conductivity and temperature and a flowmeter.
Installation and soil analysis included in the price.

Sometimes the water used is paid directly, more than amortizing the savings in irrigation with the Plantae service and the associated distributor.

Keys to a good stone fruit crop

  • The soil should be sandy loam.
  • The temperate and humid climate, except the months of July and August that require higher temperatures.
  • The need for irrigation is essential in the fruit set.
  • Plantations should have drip irrigation anchored to the ground and with drippers at a distance of one meter from the tree trunk.
  • We study the depth of the wet bulb to place the sensors at the proper depth.
